Use ChatGPT's developer-mode app flow to connect Cardzen. Developer mode controls, labels, and availability can vary by account and workspace policy.
Connect Cardzen
- In ChatGPT, open Settings -> Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
- Open ChatGPT Plugins, select the plus button, and create a developer-mode app for a remote MCP server.
- Enter a name and description, then use this server address:
https://mcp.cardzen.ai/mcp - Choose OAuth for authentication. If ChatGPT offers Client ID Metadata Documents (CIMD) for Cardzen, choose CIMD as prompted.
- Complete Cardzen sign-in in the browser. Review the account and requested access, then choose Approve.
- Open the app details to review the tools and metadata. Refresh the app there if you need ChatGPT to pull updated tools, descriptions, or server instructions.
- Start a new conversation, choose Developer mode from the plus menu, and select Cardzen for the conversation.
If Developer mode or developer-mode app controls are unavailable, check your ChatGPT account and workspace policy. Cardzen cannot enable a ChatGPT feature that your account or workspace does not provide.

Disconnect
You can disconnect from ChatGPT's app settings or revoke the Cardzen grant from Account & Settings -> MCP Integration. Revoking in Cardzen prevents that grant from making another successful request.
See MCP Limits and Troubleshooting if authorization does not return to ChatGPT or the connection stops working.
